- I was already a fan, watching Gianni touring great distances (1,400km in Canada, 2500km from UK to Italy, etc) with his Brompton. But when I saw him cycle the Carretera Austral on his Brompton, I ordered one. I was in awe, having made the that journey previously on a motorcycle. I have mad respect for this modest adventurer. Gianni has authored two books on the subject of touring on a folding bike.
